Chiddingfold is a picturesque village set around a village green and pond in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Many of the buildings around the village green date from the 12th – 16th Centuries.
The village has 4 pubs: The Swan, The Winterton Arms, the 14th century Crown and Mulberry Inn. All offer a great welcome and a range of good food, ales and wines. In the Chiddingfold local area there are yet more pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Treacles Tea Shop on the green is a great place for a light lunch during the day.

Dunsfold Park is near to Hollyhurst. You may be visiting Dunsfold Park for one of the Supercar Driving Events, the fabulous Wings & Wheels, a special flight or for one of the many films or TV shows filmed there.

The world famous Goodwood is only 23 miles from Hollyhurst. It is an easy, quiet drive to Goodwood from Hollyhurst along the A283/A285 or by the A286.
Major events such as the Goodwood Revival, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Qatar Goodwood Festival as well as the regular Horseracing and Motorsport fill up accommodation for miles around.
Enjoy your time at Goodwood knowing that you only have a 30 minute drive to your comfortable accommodation at Hollyhurst followed by dinner at one of the great Chiddingfold inns or other nearby restaurants.

The nearest town, Haslemere, is an attractive, historic town with a good range of independent boutiques and cafes. Swan Barn Farm is a quiet retreat of woodland and pastureland seconds from Haslemere High Street.
Nearby Petworth, Petworth House and Petworth Park set in the South Downs National Park are all well worth a visit. You could wander the historic streets of Petworth, browse the many independent boutiques and antiques shops, take a coffee or light lunch at the Hungry Guest Café.
The National Trust’s Petworth House is a beautiful stately mansion housing a wonderful art collection. The majestic 700-acre park at Petworth is one of the finest surviving and unspoilt examples of an English landscape designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. You could just wander the park or take one of many self-guided walks of it and the surrounding countryside.
Tillington, close to Petworth, is a pretty village with a 350 year old pub, the Horse Guards Inn, at its centre. The Horse Guards serves very good seasonal food and well kept ales.
Further afield is Arundel, centred around Arundel Castle, with its thousand years of history. Arundel itself has many independent shops, contemporary art galleries, restaurants, cafes and drinking spots.

Hollyhurst is only a 10.5 miles drive from Cowdray Park Polo Club and the Cowdray Estate along pleasant country roads.
Cowdray Park is recognised as the home of British Polo.
Cowdray Park Polo Club has an extensive range of premier tournaments throughout the season including the Jubilee Cup, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup and other wonderful events.
With your accommodation near Cowdray Park you can relax and enjoy a day or a weekend of Polo knowing that you have somewhere comfortable to return to.
Patricia's home is just beautiful! Set in the heart of the Surrey countryside it's peaceful and has some lovely views. The breakfast was really lovely too and most welcome following our Blessing in the village the day before. Patricia and her husband were amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely go back for a mini break and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the relaxation of a tranquil property in the countryside.Cathy

We can confirm with other reviews that this is a beautiful house in a fantastic and picturesque setting. Ideal for attending a wedding reception at Ramster Hall. The room itself was spotless and the bed very comfortable with piping hot water and nice big towels in the en-suite bathroom. Patricia was a lovely host and keen to make our stay as pleasant and welcoming as possible. Fabulous buffet breakfast.
